This is the second in a series of paintings depicting my favorite street (alley) in Salzburg. Now that I live nearby, I often stroll through it on my way into the city center, 20 to 30 minutes, depending on how much Mellie sniffing is required. This section includes one of the stairways up to the Kapuzinerberg, at the point where all the vines grow. There are only a few walkways up this mountain and they are all very steep. We live on its south side, where there is no public walkway up the mountain.
