I noticed this house during a walk along the shore of Lake Wolfgang and I simply liked it, so I took a picture. Later, at a seminar during the art course at the Leonardo Academy, I painted the scene. I was surprised to learn that the house was not just any house. It belonged to the scientist Karl von Frisch, a Nobel Prize Winner, who researched the language of the bee dances. In Austria, there's history everywhere!
