A walk in the Bluntau valley, October 2018. This is in Golling, a town about an hour's drive south of Salzburg. There is a beautiful path along this small river. The colors were splendid that day. Unfortunately, I was only able to take a few photos before the camera battery ran out. Then I continued to take some photos with my cell phone, a Samsung. Nice too, but the colors were less vivid. I had already painted from this photo a few times before and when I look at it now, I want to try again -- perhaps with palette knife.
